Interred at Edmondbyres.

In memory of Thomas Trotter of Bywell who died May 21st 1873 aged 59 years. Ann, wife of the above died February 19th 1881 aged 73 years. John William, their son died December 31st 1845 aged 15 months.

In memory of John Trotter of Bywell, during many years churchwarden of this parish who died March 9th 1874 aged -4 years. And of Mary his wife who died June 17th 1870 aged .. years. Elizabeth Redshaw their sister died 27th December 1864 aged 63 years. William Hamilton late of Wallsend husband of the above Isabella Hamilton died 23rd June 1874 aged 83? years.

In memory of John Watson of Newton Hall who died June 5th 1854? aged 75 years. Also of Margaret his wife who died July 30th 1855 aged 75 years. Also of Ann daughter of the above John and Margaret Watson who died at Ovington January 25th 1871 aged 66 years. Also of John their son who died at Ovington March 23rd 1873? aged 55 years.

In memory of Jane wife of Robert Watson of Peepy who died August 20th 1871 aged 50 years. Also of John their son who died February 19th 1856 aged 1 year. Also of Margaret Jane Batey their niece who died July 28th 1873 aged 24 years. The above Robert Watson died November 25th 1877 aged 62 years.

Sacred to the memory of John and Margaret Surtees of Low Fotherley. Margaret Surtees died May 17th 1846 aged 75 years. John Surtees her husband died September 26th 1850 aged 79 years. John Surtees their son died May 9th 1859 aged 44 years. Also Margaret their daughter who died February 5th 1862 aged 53 years.

Joseph Pumphrey of Hindley Hall in this parish born March 6th 1850 died December 7th 1921. And Frances his wife March 24th 1854 January 5th 1935.

Sacred to the memory of Thomas Jobling who departed this life May 18th 1859 aged 60 years.

In memory of Isabella wife of William Lisle, Broomley, who died August 29th 1856 aged 74 years. Also the above William Lisle died July 19th 1862 aged 81 years.

In a vault beneath this stone lie the mortal remains of Sarah daughter of Richard and Sarah Huntley of Fryerside in the county of Durham and widow of John Hodgson of Elnswick Northumberland Esquire born 20th December 1782? died at Stelling Hall 25th June 1858?. Also of their eldest son John Hodgson Hinde of Stelling and Ovington who died 25th November 1809 aged 63. And of Alice Hodgson their second daughter who was born 5th February 1808 and died at Beadnell Hall in the parish of Bamburgh 14th April 1871. Mary youngest daughter of John and Sarah Hodgson died 18th November 1879 aged 69.

In memory of the Revd Henry Parr Dwarris MA curate of this parish who died May 8th 1855 aged 33 years being accidentally drowned in the river just opposite this stone and in a moment called to give an account of himself and of his ministry over this flock to the chief shepherd and bishop of our souls.
